Surf Information

F.A.Q.

1º How do I arrive to the Surf Camp?

You have several options to arrive to the camp. You may arrive by airplane to the Faro international airport, although there are also good options to get there by train or bus. In any case, if you need more information you can go to the window El Viaje, and you will find details about bus companies and train schedules.

2º What Clothes do I need for my Trip to Sagres?

Between April and September you will only need T-shirts and shorts during the day and night, but sometimes you might need trousers or a light parka. In the winter you might need warmer clothing, such as windbreakers, a sweater or trousers during the night. You might also need a raincoat in case of rain.

3º Where is located the Surfcamp?

In Rua São Vicente 8650-384. Sagres. Portugal.

4º Do any of the Calima Surf packages in Portugal include airplane tickets?

None of the Calima Packages include airplane tickets.

5º What type of boards should I bring?

If you are taking the Level 1 or 2 beginner packages you will not need to bring equipment because the Surfcamp de Calima provides it. In any case a 6'0'’ should be enough. Although a bigger board (6'8" or 7'2") could be useful during big winter days.

6º Are there any Surf Shops close to the camp?

In Sagres and Lagos you can find a lot of surf shops and places to buy souvenirs. We would also be glad to take you shopping, if you want.

7º How is the nightlife in Sagres?

The Camp is located very close to the best Pubs and Restaurants in town. The nightlife in Sagres can be quite exciting, especially during summer time... but don’t forget that in the morning you’ll be surfing again!!
